Light is something that we all just accept. It is but a flip, turn, pull, push, click or even clap away. It is beyond ubiquitous, past being taken for granted, it just is. But in many parts of the world it is rather just isn’t. Somewhere between 1.5 and 2 billion people live beyond the electrical grid without electricity and thus when it is dark without light.
These people are the energy impoverished of the world. The mission of All About the Light is to reach these people and give them light. AATL will give travelers, especially traveling photographers, free small solar powered lights- Luci Lights- so that they may give them to people in need of light. In so doing, by giving light we change a life.
All About the Light is a Vermont registered 501.c.3 non-profit corporation.
